This course was designed to serve as an introduction to the principles of sustainable transportation; within the context of preparing students for a Master’s in Sustainable Smart Cities. Concepts, viewpoints, and also fundamentals essential for understanding the Green Infrastructure and Transportation agenda are in lecture. However, these materials will focus on a wider view of policies and considerations necessary for the design of future cities and metropolitan areas.
The intent of this assignment is to give students the opportunity to further evaluate a single global city / metropolitan area of their choice with regards to sustainable transportation.
