Strategies For Conflict Management: Write a short scenario that illustrates a particular type of dysfunctional conflict. Provide the who and what of the conflict. Discuss the components of the scenario that characterize the particular type of dysfunctional conflict. From your readings, identify and explain two strategies to effectively deal with the conflict. This must be pertaining to the role of a nurse practitioner.

The Nurse Practice Act In Your State For Advanced Practice
- Are NPs able to practice independently in the state?
- Based on the practice restrictions in your state, what are one or two identified barriers to NP practice?
- Does your state require NPs to have a collaboration or supervisory agreement with a physician?
- Does your state require ‘residency’ hours with a physician or NP before the NP can practice independently? How many hours? Do you support having residency hours as a requirement to independent practice?
