First, read the article “Turning Students into Symmetry Detectives”.
To complete this assignment, you should create a document that includes:
• An assignment for an eighth grade class that involves
o One or two figures containing single or multiple symmetries
o A process from the article making students “symmetry detectives”, which you should identify/cite in your narrative
o At least three activities for the students to complete (regarding the figure(s))
• A brief list of the objectives of the assignment
• A brief rubric used to grade the assignment
