Have you ever had the experience of contemplating a purchase that you thought you were going to make but didn’t? Describe that situation. Then, apply the authors’ findings to your choice not to make the purchase. Have you ever looked at your purchases through the lens of self-control? What can, or should, marketers do about self-control within this context?
