Using the presentation on Advanced Brand Communications, the Tide Loads of Hope Case Study video, 4 Questions Before You Buy Pink article, and the Tide Loads of Hope website, please answer the following questions:

  1. In your own words, describe the key elements of the ongoing Tide Loads of Hope campaign – what does it do, who does it help?
  2. According to the presentation on Advanced Brand Communications, why do companies engage in these campaigns? Why did Tide decide to launch the Loads of Hope – what were the company’s campaign goals? (Be sure to include references to text reading, Chapter 4.)
  3. Is this a good fit to the Tide brand? What are the short-term and long-term benefits of this campaign to the brand?
  4. Referring to the Consumer Pathway from Week 2, which “stages” are involved in this cause marketing campaign? How do consumers participate in Loads of Hope campaign?
  5. Which types of media are used to connect and engage consumers with Loads of Hope and the Tide brand? Provide at two recommendations on how Tide should improve their brand communications through digital media to attract future millennial consumers.
