COURSE DESCRIPTION: A general survey of the history of Christianity from AD 1500 to the present.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
In this course, the student will:
• Come to understand the basic outline of the history of Protestantism from the sixteenth century to the present, including its origins, fundamental ideas, and diverse forms.
• Be able to identify, appraise, and critique the various forms of Christianity in the last four centuries and be further informed in one’s own Baptist identity.
