CP 12 Philosophy Unit Synthesis Essay
In this unit we have discussed how society treats and values its citizens, and in what ways some segments of society are not given equal treatment. After the class discussion of “Why Millennials Can’t Afford to be Colorblind,” research a connected current societal issue to analyze in an essay by selecting three articles that address a common current issue and using evidence from each in your argument.
Think about: To what extent are marginalized groups treated differently in society, and what are the consequences of this disenfranchisement?
Prompt: Choose one marginalized group on which to focus your argument, identify how they are treated in society, and analyze the consequences of that disenfranchisement for the group and society as a whole.
Criteria: MLA format, double-spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt. font, 500 word minimum, corresponding Works Cited page. Your essay must include:

Intro, body, and concluding paragraphs
4-5 paragraphs, 500-1000 words
Include multiple pieces of evidence from at least 3 different articles
