t’s no secret that the entire technological sector is pretty homogeneous. The fact that I’m a woman, and Hispanic/Latina puts me in a unique position to talk about diversity and inclusion both in STEM and in the workplace because of lived experiences.

In the additional files i have the questions and a description on how they should be answered please pay attention to what is underlined. Below i will give some details on what i would like included. Thank you.

Question 1. The scholarship is a full ride, a $1500 monthly stipend (3 months), and an internship after completing the coding bootcamp, it would allow me to fast track my software engineering education and not worry about my finances for three months allowing me to give my undivided attention to focus purely on the bootcamp.you can make something up for how it would impact my community. I believe it would impact me in making me feel confident and like im believed in by other people other than my friends and family. It would allow me to finish the bootcamp stress free as well because im guaranteed an internship that would allow me to gain actual work experience right away, and that adds less stress because i can apply to jobs and actually have relative work experience on my resume.

2. t’s no secret that the entire technological sector is pretty homogeneous. The fact that I’m a woman, and Hispanic/Latina puts me in a unique position to talk about diversity and inclusion both in STEM and in the workplace because of lived experiences. I’ve often been one of a handful of Latinas in upper division engineering classes, and even in the jobs I’ve held, women have been vastly outnumbered by men. …
I’m held to a higher standard because of my minority status. This is precisely the type of thinking I want to challenge .

also add something about how i was a part of the society of women engineers in college and i would like to start a program wherever i end up working that allows for me to be able to reach out to my SWE chapter and have panels where leaders in my workplace software engineers can speak to SWE members about what they look for in applicants coming straight out of college etc etc

Please answer these question with a “I really want and NEED this scholarship”attitude thank you!
